Two down One to go..

White and Cream Baby Granny Shawls.
What Joy to have completed these two projects before Christmas.. :) I was starting to panic  just a bit and now I can breathe a little easier..
The border pattern is an easy one to follow, although once again I have changed it to suit me..  Its a Panda Yarn Family Circle book, first published in 1990 in Aust.
The cream shawl has 46 rows and only two of the 4 rows indicated in the pattern. This one will wings its way to Queensland :)
The white shawl has all 4 rows of edging. Both Shawls were crocheted with 4.50mm hook.
White in 8ply baby yarn and the cream in , wait for it, Patons Smoothie DK. I thought this would be a better choice for the hot weather, and much easier to clean than wool ..
Now I can get back to finishing other UFOs .. Have a great day everyone, and thanks for stopping by, I hope you will leave a message, I love reading them..:))

Oh these are really lovely. You did a beautiful job on these. I like the border you've done. I like to change things up just a bit too, to make it my own. Thanks for stopping by my little place. The rooster and (chook) ( I love that)are salt and pepper shakers, I don't or haven't yet begun collecting them, but I really liked the colors in this particular set, they are pretty arn't they. The placemat we bought in Amish is not handmade by the Amish...it has a tag sewn in it, and are mass produced somewhere, which is odd...but I suppose a real
Amish made hand sewnplace mat would be expensive.. The color is pretty and goes in my kitchen too...Hope you have a lovely w/e. I have finished up the doily with the border, and will starch it in the next few days... Blessings to you my dear friend.

How beautiful. You are inspiring me to make some to have on hand. The creme and white looks so soft and elegant and just perfect for a little one. The edgings are amazing, lovely work.

Wonderful edgings on the blankets, lifts them so nicely. I especially like the white one.
I too am currently working with Smoothie, but I don't like the way it splits
