One down 3 to go :))

Eve's baby shawl, completed.. My DSI, asked me to make this for a neighbour who is expecting her first child.. I was rather chuffed to be asked,   and pretty pleased with the end result..
It isn't a large shawl by my standards only 34x42.
The pattern comes from a book Heirloom baby blankets by Lucille laFlamme...

Wips for Wednesday ..

I couldn't help myself, I had to start yet another project from the book named "Elegance" so pretty in Red heart licac. .. I am using patons BigBaby 4ply, and a 5mm hook..
When I saw Debi's from Hooks and Yarns  I knew I had to make a start to complete this one :))
The rains are here and the garden is smiling for now.. So from me in Tasmania keep smiling and see you at your blog :))

Beautiful! I need to start a baby afghan for a dear friend. Thought I had until the 9th of April but found out yesterday the baby shower has moved up to March 31st. Yikes! I better get moving. Have a wonderful Wednesday. :) Tammy

Lovely baby blankie Pat. I also have one on the go but baby isn't due till about October so I have plenty of time. I work on it between other projects. That round ripple one withthe motif in the centre looks very sweet too.

Nice little blankets! Aren't baby blankets fun to do? They don't take as long and aren't as daunting as the adult size ones.

I wish we could have coffee and eat our goodies together sometime! That would be fun. :)

Lovely colors, beautiful blankets. I need to get moving on another one. Trying to decide on a pattern, the round ripple always calls to me though. Have a wonderful, blessed evening.

I enjoy making baby blankets too. Yours are very pretty. I particularly like the mint green colour.

I would love to see baby wrapped up in that beautiful shawl. I'm sure the lucky parents will treasure it.
