Long week end :))

The view from my door at the block, where we spent our long weekend... It is a lovely property , ever changing weather, and sometimes unwanted visitors with 8 legs...
I'm not showing what it looks like , but they are called Huntsman, big fury creatures that give me the creeps. LOL.. They love to appear above my bed of an evening just when I am about to turn off the light....
DH says "they wont hurt you " yeah right!.. Well no sleep till they have gone LOL...
Sorry but i had to show you ..
You can see more info Here
So far No Snakes ....
On a brighter note I did manage to crochet a few rows of Eve's baby shawl..
in pretty green Peter Pan, Wendy Yarn..
Of coarse I also crocheted the coaster.. they have taken over.. coasters everywhere :))
As for the patterns of the unusual ones I will post them at the next available time space :))
I hope your day is crafty and leave me a message ,you know I love to receive them .. Blessings :))

I'm enjoying your blog. Found it about a week ago as I am giving in to my snowballing addiction to crochet. :o)

Lovely coasters. As for spiders, I don't mind them except for the poisonous ones around here (black widow and fiddler). The big hairy ones I like b/c they keep the baddies away.

Just wanted to let you know I was reading your lovely blog and I adore your craft and nature posts. Best wishes!

Yikes! I wouldn't be able to sleep with spiders dangling overhead either.

When we were in Sri Lanka, the kids found a praying mantis on a frame about the fireplace in their room. My oldest son too pictures of it while the 12 year old went running and screaming from the room. :/ Yesterday he locked himself in his bedroom when our cat caught a huge dragonfly, brought it in the house and was chasing it all around. I had to put on a glove, catch the darn thing and release it back into the wild. :)

Your crochet is lovely. Always a wonderful and productive way to spend quality time. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

Wow, what a lovely view from your door, just beautiful.......

Not keen on the Hairy Harry, we get them too. The warm weather brings them out. I like to relocate them outside as I like to know where they are. They may not hurt you, just frighten you to death, hehe.......

Found a 1.25 metre brown snake skin out in the yard the other day......... Hope the owner doesn't come back looking for it.

Enjoy your week :)

I like your pretty new heading. The view is lovely is it Tassy? Our daughter cured her spider phobia by studying them. She said when she found that they have paws like kittens she just couldn't be scared of them any more. I am able to tolerate them but would sooner not share my bedroom with them thank you.

Yikes on that spider! I hate spiders.

That's a nice little baby shawl you're making. Love it.

Hello, I found your blog from Faith's Crochet by the Sea. Lovely shawl for baby, such a pretty color. I love thread crochet and yarn also. Looking forward to looking at your past posts. Lovely view shown in the picture, just beautiful. Oh my, I have a phobia of spiders. There is a place for all God's creatures, and as long as they stay outside, fine, but in the house....not so good. Hope you have a lovely evening.
